This weeks' learning has been split up into days.
Maths
Have a go at the maths colour you find the most comfortable doing. Red is the hardest, Blue is easier and Green is the easiest.
Watch the videos then answer the questions from the uploaded worksheets. *Not all days have video links.
Red
Day 1: Multiply 2-digits by 2-digits VIDEO HERE
Day 2: Multiply 3-digits by 2-digits VIDEO HERE
Day 3: Multiply 4-digits by 2-digits (basic practice) VIDEO HERE
Day 4: Multiply 4-digits by 2-digits VIDEO HERE
Day 5: Big Maths : set a timer for 100 seconds. Answer as many questions as you can in that time. Then check your answers before contonuing to answer the remainder of the questions.
Blue
Day 1: Efficient multiplication
Day 2: Written methods
Day 3: Recap Multiply 2-digits by 1-digit
Day 4: Multiply 2-digits by 1-digit
Day 5: Big Maths: set a timer for 60 seconds. Answer as many questions as you can in that time. Check your answers then answer the remainder of the questions.
Green
Day 1: Multiplication sentences using the x symbol
Day 2: Multiplication sentences from pictures
Day 3: Use arrays
Day 4: Recap Make doubles
Day 5: Big Maths: set a timer for 90 seconds. Answer as many questions as you can in this time. Then check your answers before continuing to answer the remainder of the questions.
Reading
1. Each day, read your book on Bug Club. Don't forget to answer the questions where you see the Bug.
2. If you are learning your phonics in class, choose the Phonics Phase 5 reading comprehension to read and answer the questions.
3. Read the 3 uploaded reading comprehensions. Each file has a choice of a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star level of text try.
Writing
In writing we will be reading and studying the book Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.
Day 1: Practise spelling pattern work
- We will be learning to use bullet points. CLICK HERE to watch the videos which revises how to use bullet points in a list, and then complete the three activities
Day 2: Looking at the front covers of Kensuke's Kingdom - see the uploaded worksheet.
- Read chapter 1 - Peggy Sue (up to page 12) and you can listen to it being read STORY CLICK HERE and it has been uploaded for you to read.

Day 4: Summarising Chapter 1

Music
In music, we are looking at the composer Claude Debussy. We have uploaded an information text about Debussy, there are also two links to music that he composed (one is played by a different musician) that you may want to listen to. After that, there is also a reading comprehension you may want to complete.
French

Look at the diagrams of sailing boats uploaded. Draw and label the different parts.
