Phonics
1. Practice last weeks sounds: ar, or, ur. Write down as many words as you can which have these sounds in them.
Use the powerpoint (files to download) to practise recognsing the sounds and writing the sounds when you hear them.
2. Using the sound buttons powerpoint, practice saying the sounds and blending them to read the words.
3. This weeks sounds are: ow, oi, ear, air, ure. Play phonics games using these sounds on www.phonicsplay.co.uk

Science
In Science this week we will be naming and locating body parts. Sing 'Heads, shoulders knees and toes' then see how many body parts you can name using the image in the files to download.
Maths
This week we are looking at addition.
Have a go at the questions in the files to download, then look at the flashback 4 powerpoint for some random Maths questions to have a go at. Look at the answers and see how you did.
English
This week We are writing Instructions using 'bossy words' like Put, Get, Turn We will also be writing instructions using Numbered points and using time connectives like First, Next. Have a go at making a friendship bracelet.
We are celebrating Black History Month so there are some Black historians to colour too
