Reception World Book week

Book Week

Reception class enjoyed a series of activities during World Book Week.

The children enjoyed reading the story of The Hungry Caterpillar. The Reception children are also learning about the Butterfly cycle and are taking care of Caterpillars in the classroom as part of this learning. 
The children made a huge collaborative butterly and acted out the story to help them with their Literacy work. 

Reception children also enjoyed visiting our Pop-up library in school. They enjoyed reading for pleasure and taking part in book-related activities.
