Y6 Eid Al Fitr Mandalas (Mar 2025)

Class: Year Six Year: 2024 - 2025

Mandalas, circular designs with symmetrical patterns, are found in Islamic art as representations of unity and harmony.  As part of our Eid celebrations, we created their own mandalas.  Using rulers and compasses, we divided our circle into symmetrical sections and drew intricate geometric patterns within each section.  We used black ink to colour the patterns focussing on symmetry and balance.  We hope you like them!
