Read through Shaun Tan's - Make your own pet. What do you like? What do you notice? What features of instructions can you spot?

Plan your instructions for making your own pet. Draw a plan if that helps. Click HERE to help you with the planning. 
Day 5:
Write out your instructions. Can you include the features of instructions and bullet points in a list?

 

PE
It is the Active Travel Survery this week. We are collecting in results Monday 17.05.21. You can have a look at the questions  - see the uploaded survey.

RE
How do religious beliefs impact non-violent protest movements? Read the POWERPOINT then complete the task on slide 7. Use the uploaded information texts: Aung San Suu Kyi, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela to help you.

 

Art

We are continuing to think about whether graffiti can be considered as art.  We are going to paint our graffiti name tags designed last week in vibrant colours.

We are also going to learn how to sew this week using running stitch and back stitch, making our stitches as small and as neat as possible.  We will be using metal needles and sewing on felt. Perhaps you can have a go at home.

French
This week in French, we will be introducing family members. Go through the POWERPOINT and complete the task on the last slide.

PSHCE
In PSHCE, we will continue to learn about some things you can do when you feel embarrassed that will not make things worse. Think about times you or someelse has become embarressed. What made it worse? What strategies can you use to help you? Read the POWERPOINT and the INSTRUCTIONS and then complete the uploaded TASK which is drawing a cartoon strip of an embarrassing things that has happened to you, and annotate it to show what you could have done to lessen the feeling of embarrassment.
