Maths
Watch the videos available and work through the daily Maths sheets. Write your answers down on paper.
Day 1: Multiples of 10 and Multiply by 10
Day 2: Multiples of 100 and Multiply by 100
Day 3: Look at the multiplying and dividing by 10,100,1000 poster and then answer the questions from the sheet.
Day 4: Recap The 3 times-table
Day 5: 6 times-table and division facts
SPaG
We are learning how to write subordinate clauses.
1. Look at the powerpoint to learn about subordinate clauses.
2. Then choose a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star subordinate clause activity to have a go at.
3. Then practice using a subordinate clause to extend a sentence and add more information to the main clause. See if you can do this at the beginning of the sentence, the middle and the end of a sentence.
Spellings:
This week we are learning the prefix IN.
1. Look at the powerpoint and poster showing these words.
2. Learning to spell the IN words by writing them out on paper, using the strategy Look, cover, write, check
3. We are also learning the -tial suffix. Have a go at the dictionary activity sheet uploaded.
4. Then practice spelling the -tial words. For extra challenge, have a go at spelling the -cial words too.
5. In the spelling tab at the top of the class page. Learn spellings from the y3/4 sheet or y5/6 sheet. Work through these words at your own pace.
Reading
Each day, read your books on Bug club. Don't forget to answer the questions where you see the bug.
then have a go at the Oliver Twist Differentiated Reading Comprehension Activity. Choose a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star comprehension task.
Design and Technology
We are learning about bridges and investigating ways to strengthen them. Look at the information and have a go at the uploaded task.
