Watch the video, then complete the questions from the worksheet.
Day 1: Four rules with fractions

Day 3: Fraction of an amount - find the whole
Day 4: More fractions: fractions of amounts- Would you rather?
Day 5: Big Maths. Set a timer for 100 seconds. Answer as many questions as you can in that time. Check your answers then answer the remainder of the questions.

This week, we are learning about Modal verbs.
1. Read through the powerpoint to help you learn about them.
2. On Paper, complete the sentences on the modal verb worksheet. Choose a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star level sheet to complete.
3. Using the words on the uploaded Modal verb word mat. Write sentences containing the modal verb.
Reading
Each day, read your books on Bug club. Don't forget to answer the questions where you see the bug.
Then have a go at the uploaded comprehension text Choose a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star comprehension text to complete.
Writing
Complete the Tsunami Writing task attached.
We are also learning to use a dictionary and a thesaurus.
A thesaurus helps us to find other words which have a similar meaning (synonyms)
A dictionary will help you to find the meaning and spelling of words.
If you have access to a dictionary or thesaurus or can access these resources online, complete the 2 tasks uploaded. (On the dictionary skills activity- ignore the page number sections of the table.
